It All Starts with an Opportunity
The EXP Internship Program is a high-impact journey for 11th-grade students enrolled in EXP-supported high schools in Southern California. This program brings together employers, educators, and parents to prepare high school students for tomorrow's workplace through career-readiness workshops and hands-on internships.
Not only do internship host sites invest in their local communities and make a difference in their interns' lives, but they also expand their future hiring pools, boost company morale, and raise awareness of their organizations and industries.
In the summer of 2026, we placed 180 students in internships with 66 corporate and community organizations in LA and Orange Counties, as well as the City of Barstow. This is the largest cohort in the organization’s history!
