Los Angeles, CA (September 2018) -- EXP, a Carson-based 501(c)(3) non-profit operating throughout Southern California, proudly hosts the annual career discovery event, GPS Your Future, on Friday, September 28, 2018, at California State University Dominguez Hills. Students from 11 EXP-supported high schools and three guest high schools from across Southern California will participate in hands-on activities, breakout speaker sessions where industry professionals share their career journeys, and a career expo where companies showcase their industries.

“Now in its 8th year, GPS Your Future is one of EXP’s programs which connect students directly with companies to learn about career opportunities and network with future employers,” said Nicole Martin Huezo, Director of Programs and Strategic Partnership, EXP. “The event not only benefits students but is a great opportunity for companies and individuals to make an impact on a young person’s future and also build a connection with their future workforce.”

Produced in partnership with CSU Dominguez Hills, the 2018 GPS Your Future event is sponsored by Comerica Bank, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Los Angeles World Airports, Port of Los Angeles, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Watson Land Company and Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
