EXP Connects Educators with Global Trade Industry at World Trade Week

Hands-on learning is not just for our students but for our educators as well.

On June 17, 2022, EXP CEO Amy Grat, who is also chair of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce World Trade Week Education Committee, presented a special session at World Trade Week to connect educators to the global trade industry.

“Demystifying Global Trade Career Pathways & Resources” discussed global trade and supply chain career pathways with Southern California high school and college educators and career counselors. Industry experts from Los Angeles World Airports, GlobalCareersHub, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, and the Employment Development Department shared various opportunities accessible to youth in their local communities. Following the panel discussion, educators were taken on a private tour of the Delta cargo hold.
