Summer Bridge Program - Volunteer Opportunities

EXP is supporting the Los Angeles Unified School District's (LAUSD's) annual Summer Bridge Program again this year! In partnership with the Center for Powerful Public Schools, this 3-week program helps incoming 9th-grade students make a successful transition into high school and acquire high-demand career skills.

We are looking for virtual volunteers in the healthcare, mental health, and wellness industries to serve as speakers and panel judges of student presentations on the topic of "Stress on the Teenage Brain." If you're interested and available to spend just a couple of hours, you can help young people improve their skills and gain confidence for their first year of high school!

The sessions are taking place in early July through early August. While the schedule is still to be determined, we'd love to have you on our roster to call on when the time comes. To sign up or for more information, please email EXP Senior Program Manager Alejandra Garcia Rios at alejandra@expfuture.org.
