EXP postpones Oceans of Opportunity to June 2

A message from CEO Amy Grat

Like you, all of us at EXP are paying close attention to the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus), trying to assess its impacts on our programs and our community.  EXP has a full schedule of activities scheduled during spring semester, notably our 20th Anniversary Oceans of Opportunity Scholarship Celebration that has been planned for March 26th at the Carson Center.

My top priority and responsibility is to ensure the safety, comfort and care for our staff, students, educators and industry partners – you are all valued members of our EXP Family. With this in mind, and after extensive consultation with my EXP team, my board and our educator partners, we have made the necessary decision to postpone our Oceans of Opportunity event.

Given the centrality of students to the program (and my unflagging optimism), we have rescheduled the event for Tuesday, June 2nd so that our scholarship winners and schools may still participate.  Please set your calendars accordingly.

We will keep you apprised of updated information regarding Oceans of Opportunity and our other programs. In the meantime, please know that we are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our decision or any further details concerning our June 2nd celebration with you!

Thank you again for your continued support of EXP’s mission to prepare students for a better life.

UPDATE: APRIL 24
